The annual cake exhibition-cum-sale organised by Kovai KRS Bakery was inaugurated on December 14 at its outlet on Lokmanya Street, R.S. Puram East, marking the launch of its 2026 New Year and Christmas celebrations.
Founders Naresh and Subha said the exhibition sale, now under way, features more than 1,000 cake designs across 50 varieties and flavours, catering to diverse customer preferences.
A key attraction this year is the introduction of millet-based cakes in multiple flavours, aimed at promoting healthier eating habits.
The exhibition also showcases creatively designed cakes, with a special focus on themes appealing to children. The founders said all products are prepared using high-quality, health-friendly ingredients.
Adding to the festivities, the bakery organised a cake-making workshop for children, in which 25 participants received hands-on training and basic knowledge of cake preparation.
The founders said the exhibition has been witnessing a strong and encouraging response from the public since its inauguration.
