While Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Vijay campaigned in Erode yesterday, posters raising various questions against him have been put up throughout the city.
After 41 people died in the crowd surge in Karur, Vijay spoke at an open-air campaign meeting near Vijayamangalam, the first such meeting in Tamil Nadu since the incident.
The police imposed various restrictions on this meeting and were engaged in intense
surveillance.
However, the posters put up against Vijay in various parts of Erode have created a stir. These posters raise various questions against Vijay for not personally visiting Karur and inquiring about the well-being of the victims.
Posters containing various questions such as, “You came all the way to Erode, won’t you go to Karur?”, “You didn’t go to Karur which is nearby, but you’re going to Malaysia for an audio launch? What bro, it’s very wrong bro,” have been put up.
