Amrita Signs Mou With CMA to Boost Industry Academia Linkages

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Coimbatore Management Association to strengthen industry–academia collaboration through joint academic and professional initiatives.

The partnership will facilitate student projects, internship training and industrial visits, besides organising workshops, seminars and management events. It also provides for Faculty Development Programmes, Executive and Management Development Programmes, consultancy assignments, curriculum support, guest lectures and Professor of Practice engagements.

The initiative is expected to enhance industry exposure and practical learning opportunities for students while enabling closer interaction between faculty members and management professionals.

The MoU was signed by Registrar P. Ajith Kumar and CMA President Nithyanandan Devaraaj in the presence of Nava Subramaniam, Dean, Amrita School of Business; A. Balachandran, Director – Industry Connect; Prashant R. Nair, Associate Director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell; Puneet Krishnan, Secretary, and members of the CMA managing committee.

The collaboration marks a significant step towards building sustained industry partnerships and preparing students for real-world professional challenges.
