Train halts just in time as man sleeps on tracks

A major tragedy was averted at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai after a man who had fallen asleep on a railway track narrowly escaped being run over by an approaching train.
According to eyewitnesses, the man was seen lying cross-legged on a white sheet spread across one of the tracks at the busy station. As a train approached the platform, commuters noticed him on the tracks and began shouting, urging him to get up and move to safety.
Despite repeated warnings from people on the platform, the man did not respond and appeared to be in an inebriated state. The train driver, noticing the unusual situation ahead, sounded the horn continuously and applied the brakes.
The train eventually slowed down and came to a halt a short distance before reaching the man, preventing what could have been a fatal accident. Railway staff later removed the individual from the tracks and initiated further action.
