A 103-year-old woman in Gujarat’s Vadodara has captured public attention for her enduring spirit as she continues to be part of a tea stall she has run for over three decades.
Kashiba, who started the small tea shop near Maharaja Sayajirao University more than 30 years ago, remains actively involved in its daily operations despite her age. Though the stall is now largely managed by her son and daughter-in-law, she continues to assist in preparing tea and other tasks.
A recent video of Kashiba at work has gone viral on social media, showing her peeling ginger and helping make tea. Her signature ginger tea, known for its distinct aroma, has been popular among generations of students and continues to attract customers.
Locals say Kashiba’s dedication and energy have made her a familiar and inspiring figure in the area, symbolising hard work and resilience across generations.
