The 35th Graduation Day of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science, Nava India, Coimbatore, was held in the college auditorium.
The event was presided over by S. Narendran, Joint Managing Trustee of the SNR Sons Charitable Trust. Dr. B. L. Shivakumar, Principal & Secretary of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science, welcomed the gathering and presented the college’s achievements.
The chief guest, Dr. P. B. Kotur, Global Head – Global Engineering Academy, L&T Technology Services, awarded degrees to the postgraduate students and presented medals to the rank holders in each discipline. He spoke about the 5 Es of Nation’s progress. Education, employment, entrepreneurship, economy, and environment are the five fundamental pillars for a nation’s progress.
A total of 1,688 undergraduate students and 408 postgraduate students, altogether 2,096 students were conferred with degrees.
Dr. G. Senthilkumar, Controller of Examination of the college also participated in the event.
