Actor Raghava Lawrence has launched a new charity initiative titled ‘Kanmani Annadhana Virundhu’, in memory of his mother Kanmani.
Explaining the purpose of the project, Lawrence said, “I have started this initiative so that poor children too can enjoy the same high-quality and delicious food that only the rich usually eat. No one should go hungry.”
Recalling his early efforts, he added, “Twenty years ago, I fed 60 children at my home. Now, wherever poor people are starving, I will personally go and serve them food through this project. I am happy to have begun this initiative with the elders and children of the Narikkuravar tribes.”
Lawrence further stated that the project will continue with the mission that no one should suffer from hunger, and expressed his commitment to carry it forward with satisfaction by fulfilling the needs of the poor.
