Ajith Kumar Offers Prayers at Tirupati

Tamil cinema’s leading star Ajith Kumar, popularly known among fans as ‘Thala’, visited the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala, Tirupati, this morning and offered prayers during the Suprabhata Seva.
Ajith arrived at the temple early in the morning and stood in the general queue like other devotees, quietly participating in the rituals. He had darshan of Lord Venkateswara and offered his prayers before exiting the shrine.
As soon as fans recognized him, chants of “Thala! Thala!” filled the temple premises. Maintaining his trademark composure and respect for temple decorum, Ajith gently gestured to devotees to remain silent inside the sanctum area. After the darshan, he took photographs with a few fans outside the temple.
Videos of Ajith’s Tirupati visit have gone viral on social media, with fans praising his humility, simplicity, and devotion.
Earlier this week, Ajith, accompanied by his family, had visited the Bhagavathy Amman Temple in Palakkad, Kerala. Photos from that visit showed a tattoo on the right side of his chest, believed to depict Goddess Bhagavathy, his ancestral deity. The image quickly became a trending topic online.
Professionally, Ajith’s latest release, Good Bad Ugly, has received positive feedback from audiences and critics alike. Apart from his acting career, Ajith is also an accomplished motorsport enthusiast. He recently secured third place in a 24-hour endurance car race held in Spain. His Ajith Kumar Racing Team is scheduled to compete in upcoming international races — in Malaysia later this year and Abu Dhabi in 2026.
Meanwhile, reports confirm that Adhik Ravichandran, the director of Mark Antony, will be directing Ajith’s next film — a high-octane commercial entertainer. The film’s pre-production work is currently underway and is expected to go on floors soon.
