Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has entered into a significant academic collaboration with IMT Atlantique, one of France’s premier technological universities under the Grandes Écoles network. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formalised at the IMT Atlantique campus in Nantes, marking a new phase of international cooperation.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Christophe Lerouge, President of IMT Atlantique, and Prof. Maneesha V. Ramesh, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The partnership aims to strengthen joint research, launch collaborative academic programmes, enable student–faculty exchange, and promote co-authored research publications.
A key feature of the collaboration is IMT Atlantique’s engagement with Amrita’s Live-in-Labs®, the university’s flagship experiential learning initiative, along with broader cooperation in emerging technology domains.
IMT Atlantique, ranked among the top 10 institutions in France and placed 115th globally in the “Industry” pillar, continues to stand out among French institutions in international rankings.
An Amrita delegation comprising Prof. Maneesha Ramesh, Prof. Manoj (Dean), Prof. Shyam Diwakar, and Dr. Raja Sundar visited the Nantes campus for discussions on expanding research partnerships and enhancing opportunities for global academic engagement.
