Global direct selling leader Amway has announced a ₹100 crore (USD 12 million) investment to accelerate its growth and transformation in India over the next three to five years.
The investment aims to enhance distributor capabilities, strengthen the company’s physical presence, and improve customer experience.
The announcement came during Amway President and CEO Michael Nelson’s visit to India, marking 10 years of the company’s manufacturing journey in the country. India plays a crucial role in Amway’s global operations as one of only three global manufacturing hubs, alongside the United States and China.
This visit marked Michael Nelson’s first to India since assuming his role as President and CEO, reaffirming Amway’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable growth in the region. “India stands at the very core of Amway’s global vision,” said Michael Nelson, President and CEO, Amway.
“With its young, dynamic workforce and growing focus on holistic wellbeing, India is a powerhouse of potential.
As we celebrate a decade of local manufacturing, we remain dedicated to helping people live better lives through economic empowerment and wellbeing.” The investment will focus on modernizing Amway’s retail spaces, transforming existing stores into dynamic hubs with redesigned layouts, training zones, and improved service areas. It will also include structured programs for distributors focusing on product knowledge, quality assurance, and certification, aimed at strengthening customer engagement.
