“Arputa peruvizha” Christian meet begins in Coimbatore today

A two-day Christian revival gathering titled Arputa Peruvizha will be held in Coimbatore on Saturday and Sunday, the organisers announced.
The event is being jointly organised by the Kovai Rathnapuri comfort Church and Jesus Delivers Ministries and will take place daily from 6 pm at the maidan near Coimbatore Vidyamandir School on Thottipalayam Road, adjacent to Chinniyampalayam. Founder of Jesus Delivers Ministries, Mohan C. Lazarus, will take part in the gathering and deliver the gospel message. Special prayers will be offered for national welfare, industrial development, family well-being and the 2026 Assembly elections.
Organisers said this is the first Arputa Peruvizha to be conducted in Coimbatore this year and is expected to attract thousands of devotees from Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode and the Nilgiris districts.
Arrangements for the programme are being made by the Jesus Delivers team along with pastors and pastors’ associations from Coimbatore and Tiruppur districts.
Meanwhile, Mohan C. Lazarus will also participate in a special Sunday service to be held at the Comfort Church in Rathinapuri, Coimbatore, on Sunday morning, where he will deliver the divine message and offer prayers.
