With the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections approaching, political activities are gaining momentum across the State. In this context, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) founder and president Vijay has announced the formation of a 10-member Election Campaign Committee to handle the party’s poll-related work.
In a statement, Vijay said the committee has been constituted to carry out election campaign activities at the State, district and constituency levels in the run-up to the Assembly elections.
The members of the Election Campaign Committee are N. Ananda, Adhav Arjuna B.A., K. A. Sengottaiyan, A. Parthipan, B. Rajkumar (DME), K. V. Vijay Damu, S. P. Wealth (DCE), K. Pichairathnam Karikalan, M. Serau Maidin alias Nias, and J. Catherine Pandian, M.A., B.Ed.
According to the announcement, the committee will be responsible for organising consultative meetings, election campaign meetings and related activities in all 234 Assembly constituencies across Tamil Nadu.
Vijay appealed to party cadres to extend their full cooperation to the committee to ensure the smooth and effective execution of election campaign activities.
