Auto driver returns lost gold bracelet

An autorickshaw driver in Coimbatore has won widespread appreciation for his honesty after returning a gold bracelet accidentally left behind by a passenger.
Kausalya Srinivasan, a resident of Ganapathy Bharathi Nagar, had hired an autorickshaw driven by Manikandan of Saravanampatti to visit a shop on 100 Feet Road along with her family.
After returning home, she realised that the one-sovereign gold bracelet she was wearing had gone missing and was shocked by the loss.
Meanwhile, Manikandan, while cleaning his vehicle, noticed a gold bracelet lying near the edge of the seat. Realising that it must have belonged to his recent passenger, he immediately contacted fellow auto drivers to trace the woman and went to her residence.
He handed over the bracelet safely to Kausalya Srinivasan and her family, who were relieved after their anxious search for the missing ornament.
Residents lauded the driver’s integrity, noting that despite the soaring price of gold, he chose honesty over personal gain. Manikandan has since been receiving appreciation from the public for his commendable act.
