Bank of India Coimbatore Zone Marks Vigilance Awareness Week

The Bank of India’s Coimbatore Zone observed Vigilance Awareness Week from October 27 to November 1, 2025, in line with the Central Vigilance Commission’s nationwide campaign to promote participative vigilance and curb corruption.
This year’s theme, “Vigilance: Shared Responsibility,” underscored the collective role of citizens and institutions in safeguarding integrity.

The observance began on October 27 with an Integrity Pledge, administered by Deputy Zonal Manager Shri Sivasubramanian at the Zonal Office. Employees from all branches actively took part, affirming their commitment to ethical conduct and transparency. In his address, Shri Sivasubramanian called on staff to maintain high standards of governance and ensure proactive vigilance in daily operations.
To foster creative expression and awareness, a Rangoli competition was held at the Zonal Office, featuring designs centered on anti-corruption messages. An online quiz for employees further engaged staff in reinforcing vigilance-related knowledge.

Extending the campaign beyond the office, rural and semi-urban branches conducted Gram Sabha meetings, engaging local communities in discussions on ethical practices and transparency.
These initiatives reinforced the bank’s emphasis on collective vigilance as a cornerstone of good governance.
