The Coimbatore Zonal Office of Bank of India organised a Vigilance Awareness Campaign as part of Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026, focusing on integrity, ethical governance and transparency in banking operations. The programme began with employees taking an integrity pledge, reaffirming their commitment to high ethical standards and public accountability.
Addressing the gathering, Bank of India Zonal Manager Ranjith Kumar highlighted the importance of preventive vigilance in the bank’s day-to-day operations. He urged employees to follow a zero-tolerance approach towards corruption and promote a work culture rooted in integrity and public trust.
He also stressed the need for strict adherence to banking procedures and complete transparency in customer and administrative services.
An awareness session on updated compliance guidelines, digital vigilance initiatives and internal whistle-blower mechanisms was also conducted to strengthen safeguards in banking operations.
Chief Vigilance Officer Amit Pradhan, Deputy Zonal Manager Sivasubramanian A and employees of the Zonal Office and Credit Processing Centres participated in the programme.
