BJP farmers wing will hold its Kovai zonal conference at Lakshmi Duraisamy marriage hall, Thindal, Erode on Jan 4 with inviting union agriculture minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, said the wing state president GK Nagaraj.
He told newsmen as per the direction of party president Nainar Nahendran, all wings of the party will hold conferences.
The farmers wing meet will focus on turmeric and cane growers problems in the zone and sought floor price, export opportunities and turmeric testing lab etc.
The meet will have 200 stalls of farm products to help ryots marketing aspects, Kangayam bulls expo, Valli Gummi dance etc.
Over 15000 ryots are expected to attend. BJP leaders Nainar Nahendran, Annamalai and many others will attend.
BJP district president SM Senthil and wing functionaries were present.
