A blood donation camp was organised at the Government Anna Hospital here on Monday to mark the 25th anniversary (silver jubilee) of READ.
The camp was jointly organised by READ, the Government Anna Hospital and the She Roses women’s wing of the Sathyamangalam Inner Wheel Club.
READ employees and their friends donated blood after undergoing medical screening, including checks for blood pressure and haemoglobin levels.
READ Director Karuppusamy, Sathyamangalam Inner Wheel Club She Roses president Nithya Iraiyanbu and director Bosco Iraiyanbu inaugurated the camp.
A total of 16 persons donated blood at the camp. READ project coordinator Annakodi coordinated the programme.
