Bomb Threat to Actor Arun Vijay’s Chennai Residence Proves to Be Hoax

Tension prevailed in Ekkattuthangal, Chennai, after a bomb threat email was received at the Tamil Nadu DGP’s office claiming that a bomb had been planted at actor Arun Vijay’s house.

Following the alert, police teams and Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) personnel swiftly arrived at Arun Vijay’s residence and conducted an extensive search operation.

After a detailed examination, officials confirmed that the threat was a hoax and that no explosives were found. Police sources said the email was sent by an unidentified person using a fake ID, and a probe has been launched by the Cyber Crime Wing to trace the sender.

Senior police officers stated, “No suspicious object was found during the search. Efforts are underway to identify the person who sent the false threat.”
