BUILD INTEC 2026 To Showcase Latest Trends In Construction Industry

BUILD INTEC 2026, South India’s leading trade fair on architecture, construction, engineering, building materials and allied sectors, will be held from February 6 to 9 at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex on Avinashi Road here. The event is being organised by CODISSIA and will mark the 15th edition of the prestigious exhibition.
Announcing the event, Build Intec 2026 Chairman I. Gnanavallal said the exhibition has been conceived with the objective of promoting the latest trends, technologies and innovations in the construction industry. He said Build Intec has grown into one of the largest construction-focused expos in South India, serving as a strong platform for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer engagement.
BUILD INTEC 2026 is expected to host more than 250 exhibitors across 300-plus stalls, occupying a gross area of one lakh square feet spread across Halls A, B, C and the outdoor exhibition space. Over 40,000 visitors from across the country are expected to attend the four-day event. Exhibitors from 10 states, including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan, will participate.
The fair will be inaugurated at 10 a.m. on February 6. Shri Abhay Kumar Mishra, President and CEO of Jindal Realty, New Delhi, will be the chief guest, while Shri Amit Dilip Barde, Head of the Precast Division, L&T, Mumbai, will be the guest of honour. Sri Velavan Traders Private Limited, Madurai, is the platinum category exhibitor.
A special knowledge-sharing and interaction session on the future growth of construction technologies, with emphasis on precast and industrialised construction methods, will be held on the inaugural day. The session will feature keynote addresses by industry experts from L&T, Drsti Precast and Empire Precast. A technical session on emerging trends in precast technology will also be organised in association with the Precast Manufacturers’ Association of India and PSG College of Technology.
Highlights of the exhibition include recycled plastic building materials, fibre glass rebars, portable containers, plastic formworks, smart toilets, pod houses, automated rainwater harvesting systems and specialty coatings. Products on display will range from construction machinery, steel and concrete to interiors, electricals, plumbing, roofing, automation and safety systems.
Mr. Gnanavallal said Build Intec 2026 will provide an ideal platform for architects, engineers, contractors, developers, government officials, investors and students to explore innovations, share knowledge and expand business networks. He appealed to the media and the public to extend support and help make the event a grand success.
