Camford International School inducts new student council

The Camford International School conducted its 17th Investiture Ceremony, formally inducting the Student Council for the academic year 2026-27 at a function attended by students, parents and faculty members.
The ceremony was presided over by Air Marshal M. S. G. Menon (Retd.) in the presence of Chairman N. Arul Ramesh, Correspondent Poongothai Arul Ramesh and Principal Dr. Poonam Syal.
Tanmay was inducted as the School Head Boy, while Ruhin Bhandari assumed office as the School Head Girl. The newly elected student leaders were presented with sashes and badges of office and took the oath of leadership, pledging to uphold the school’s values with integrity, discipline and dedication.
Addressing the gathering, Air Marshal M. S. G. Menon (Retd.) said true leadership is built on character, discipline, resilience and selfless service. He encouraged students to lead by example, remain humble in success and face challenges with confidence.
He also urged them to learn from everyday experiences and the people around them, stating that every experience offers valuable lessons.
He commended the school for the meticulous organisation of the ceremony and appreciated the spirit of excellence displayed by the students.
The ceremony, attended by parents, teachers and students, concluded with a cultural presentation followed by the National Anthem, inspiring students to embrace responsibility, leadership and patriotism.
