Canara Bank OBC Employees’ Body Announces New Office-Bearers at AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the All India Canara Bank Other Backward Classes Employees’ Welfare Association was held in Chennai with participation from members across the country.
During the meeting, Mr. I. Sriram was elected as General Secretary, while Mr. Sunil Yadav was chosen as President of the association.
The newly elected office-bearers were congratulated by the association’s founder Mr. G. V. Manimaran, and Chairman Mr. Shankar, and Regional secretaries of Coimbatore of AICBOBCEWA Vinoth kumar and Vishal.
Speakers at the meeting highlighted the association’s ongoing efforts toward the welfare, professional development and empowerment of OBC employees working in Canara Bank. They emphasised the need for collective representation, equal opportunities and continued organisational support for members across regions.
Members who attended the AGM reiterated their commitment to strengthening the association’s activities and working with dedication to achieve its objectives.
The meeting concluded with a pledge by office-bearers and members to expand welfare initiatives and enhance support systems for OBC employees within the bank.
