The GRD School of Commerce and International Business, Dr. GRD College of Science, Coimbatore – 641014, hosted an engaging session under its “CEO Words Series” on Sunday, featuring Mr. Ramaswamy Narayanan, CEO and Founder of Bridgepath Innovations, Bengaluru, as the Chief Guest. The session was titled “How to Build a Strong Business Venture in India.”
Addressing aspiring entrepreneurs, Mr. Ramaswamy Narayanan emphasised that entrepreneurship begins with clarity of purpose, not profit.

He said successful ventures are built on trust, value creation and disciplined execution rather than mere ideas.
Highlighting India’s transformation from a “market of potential” to a “market of performance,” he urged students to align their ventures with sectors where India holds global strength, including digital transformation, artificial intelligence and Global Capability Centers.
Drawing from his professional experience, he explained the importance of financial discipline, solvency and maintaining strong credit ratings to withstand economic volatility and unforeseen “black swan” events.
He advised budding entrepreneurs to focus on solving real problems, embed technology from the outset, and build enterprises rooted in governance, compliance and operational excellence.
The session was highly interactive, with students engaging in discussions on leadership, risk management and sustainable growth.
The programme was organised under the guidance of Dr. K.K. Ramachandran, Vice Principal and Director, GRD School of Commerce and International Business, GRD Institute of Management.
