CII Coimbatore hosts inaugural finance conclave on future-ready finance

The Confederation of Indian Industry, Coimbatore, on Wednesday organised the first edition of the Finance Conclave 2025 on the theme “Future-Ready Finance: ”
Capital, Compliance & Digital Innovation”, bringing together senior finance leaders, policymakers, bankers, tax officials and industry professionals to deliberate on the evolving role of finance in nation-building and sustainable economic growth.
The conclave witnessed strong participation from industry and finance professionals across the region.


In his inaugural address, Arun C. Bharat, I.R.S., Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Coimbatore, spoke on the vision of Viksit Bharat and highlighted Coimbatore’s pivotal contribution to India’s development.
He said the city’s growth has been driven by the enterprise, values and resilience of its people and industries, and urged leaders to view taxation and compliance as vital contributions to nation-building, beyond statutory obligations.


V. Noushad, Vice Chairman, CII Coimbatore Zone, and Managing Director, Walkaroo International Pvt. Ltd., in his special address, said finance leadership is rapidly evolving from transactional efficiency to strategic value creation.
He emphasised the need for long-term capital allocation, effective risk management and digital enablement aligned with business strategy.
Rajkumar S.A., General Manager and Zonal Head, Union Bank of India, in his address on “Banking for a Viksit Bharat”, highlighted the shift in Indian banking towards a promoter-centric, relationship-driven approach, enabling banks to support entrepreneurs and sustainable economic growth more meaningfully.


In his welcome remarks, M. Manjunath, Co-Convenor, Finance and Economic Affairs Panel, CII Coimbatore, and Director, Astral Business Consulting LLP, noted that finance leaders today are strategic partners driving capital efficiency, compliance discipline and digital transformation.


Madhan Mohan C., Co-Convenor, Finance and Economic Affairs Panel, CII Coimbatore, and CFO, JS Auto Cast Foundry (I) Pvt. Ltd., delivered the closing remarks, thanking speakers and participants and reaffirming CII Coimbatore’s commitment to future-ready leadership. The conclave covered topics including capital markets, cyber security, digital trade ecosystems, working capital efficiency, the new tax code and labour code.
Eminent speakers included Munish Aggarwal, Kaustubh Srivastava, Venkataraghavan S. and Gunasegharan K. Over 120 delegates, including CFOs and finance heads from more than 60 industries, participated in the event.
