CM inquires about health of BJP Leader H Raja

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Sunday enquired about the health of senior BJP leader and national executive committee member H. Raja, who is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai after suffering a stroke.
H. Raja, 68, reportedly collapsed while participating in a private television programme in Chennai on January 30.
He was immediately admitted to a nearby private hospital and later shifted to Apollo Hospital for advanced treatment.
Medical examinations confirmed that he had suffered a stroke.
Hospital sources said H. Raja is currently stable and responding well to treatment. They added that he is conscious, able to speak and has been interacting with his family members and close associates.
Chief Minister Stalin visited the hospital on Sunday and met H. Raja’s family members, enquiring in detail about his health condition and the treatment being provided.
Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin accompanied him during the visit.
During the same visit, the Chief Minister also met Kulithalai DMK MLA R. Manickam, who is undergoing treatment at the hospital, and enquired about his health and recovery.
Officials said the Chief Minister conveyed his wishes for the speedy recovery of both leaders and assured the families of all necessary support.
