CM Stalin accuses opponents of pawning Tamil Nadu’s future

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Thursday accused political opponents of compromising Tamil Nadu’s future, alleging that they were acting in the interests of external forces.
In a message posted on social media platform X on the occasion of freedom fighter Theeran Chinnamalai’s birth anniversary, Stalin paid tribute to the leader who fought against British rule and was eventually defeated through conspiracy.
Drawing a parallel with the present, Stalin alleged that forces from Delhi were attempting to weaken Tamil Nadu politically through constituency delimitation, as they could not assert control directly.
He also criticised certain leaders, stating that for selfish gains, they were endangering the State’s future and dignity. Referring to historical betrayal, he said similar tendencies continued even today.
Stalin asserted that Tamil Nadu would resist such attempts and reiterated that the State would stand united against what he termed oppression. He expressed confidence that Tamil Nadu would prevail.
