CM Stalin Pays Floral Tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on 156th Birth Anniversary

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin today paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi on his 156th birth anniversary by offering floral tributes at the Gandhi statue in Egmore, Chennai.

Gandhi Jayanti, observed on October 2, is being celebrated across the nation to honour the Father of the Nation. Leaders of various political parties, government representatives, and the public took part in remembrance events.

In Chennai, Chief Minister Stalin led the ceremony by showering flowers at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. Chennai Mayor R. Priya, several state ministers, and senior officials joined the event to pay their respects.

Across Tamil Nadu, leaders and party members also observed Gandhi Jayanti with tributes, highlighting Gandhi’s enduring legacy of truth, non-violence, and national unity.
