Coimbatore-based boy Rakshan has secured second place in the International Junior Model competition held in Thailand, earning recognition for Tamil Nadu and India.
The competition, which featured more than 20 contestants from over 15 countries, was organised to showcase children’s confidence, individual talents, discipline and stage skills. Rakshan was the only contestant from Tamil Nadu to represent India in the competition.
The event featured several rounds, including intelligence, interview skills, traditional attire and stage performance. Rakshan performed well across the rounds and secured the second position.
After returning to Coimbatore following his international appearance, Rakshan has been receiving appreciation from various quarters, including State Director Sivakumar.
Several people also appreciated the encouragement and support extended by Rakshan’s parents towards his efforts and achievements.
