The news that the Coimbatore and Madurai Metro Rail projects are being rejected is incorrect.
Additional information and documents have been requested regarding the Coimbatore and Madurai Metro Rail projects.
The Chennai Metro Administration has announced that it will continue the project by providing clarifications to the questions asked about the Metro project.
The Centre is playing a very important role in the development of Tamil Nadu in various sectors.
Therefore, the Centre will ensure that the Coimbatore and Madurai Metro Rail projects are not likely to be stopped based on population and economic growth.
