Coimbatore shopping festival to begin on Dec. 24 at CODISSIA

The 11th edition of the Coimbatore Shopping Festival 2025 will be held from December 24, 2025, to January 1, 2026, at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, Coimbatore, offering a nine-day shopping, entertainment and leisure extravaganza for families during the year-end holiday season.
The festival is being organised by CODISSIA Intec Technology Centre, Coimbatore.
The inauguration will take place at 10 a.m. on December 24. Arun C. Bharat, I.R.S., Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Coimbatore, will inaugurate the event as the chief guest, while Manoj Kumar, Chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, will attend as the guest of honour.
The fair will be open to visitors from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and will be spread across four halls—A, B, C and E.
More than 500 stalls by over 350 exhibitors will be set up across a display area of around 1.5 lakh square feet.
The festival will showcase a wide range of consumer durables, household goods, furniture, furnishings, textiles, apparel, jewellery, fashion accessories, kitchen equipment, cleaning products, books, toys, gift articles, solar products, gym and fitness equipment, organic foods, natural fruit drinks, water purifiers, banking and insurance services, real estate, automobiles, office stationery, tours and travel services, and traditional handicrafts.
Special attractions include an exclusive furniture pavilion, 50 stalls of native artisans from across India facilitated by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission, and 20 handicraft stalls organised by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
Exhibitors from Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Jammu, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Puducherry, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal will participate. Daily evening entertainment programmes featuring film celebrities and popular artistes will be held from 6.30 p.m. The venue will also host nearly 50 games and attractions for children and adults, including water games, adventure games, carnival rides, simulators, camel rides, robotic birds, a flower show and a ghost house.
Super game combo packages will be available, along with a live food court offering a variety of cuisines.
K. Nandagopal, Chairman of Coimbatore Shopping Festival 2025, said the event aims to promote trade and commerce, boost the economy of the Kongu region and position Coimbatore as a vibrant holiday destination during the year-end season.
