Art lovers thronged the Government Arts College on Race Course Road today as Art Street, one of the key attractions of Coimbatore Vizha 2025, opened to an enthusiastic response. The exhibition closed on, November 23.
District Collector Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar formally inaugurated the event in the presence of Aashish Raichuraa, Chairperson of the Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID), Coimbatore Centre; Shanmugam, President of Coimbatore Vizha 2025; and members of the Vizha organising team.
The vibrant showcase features an array of artworks — from paintings and resin creations to photo frames, handmade pieces, and innovative crafts made from waste. Adding an environmental touch, an e-waste disposal bin has been placed at the venue to encourage responsible waste management.
