Comedian Pugazh’s Father Passes Away

Comedian and actor Pugazh’s father Murugan passed away on Wednesday due to ill health.
Pugazh rose to prominence through popular Vijay TV shows such as Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru and Cook With Comali, winning appreciation for his humour and screen presence. He later appeared in Tamil films including Etharkkum Thunindhavan, DSP, Ayothi and Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir, besides playing the lead role in Mr Zoo Keeper.
The actor shared the news of his father’s demise on his Instagram page on Thursday morning. In an emotional message, he wrote, “Dad, you can’t go anywhere without telling me. Oh God, you left without telling me.”
Several television actors, film personalities, friends and fans have expressed their condolences and extended support to Pugazh and his family during this difficult time.
