COSIEMA, VLB College organise job fair; 210 students selected

A job fair for students was conducted at VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science here on March 17 at 10 a.m. The event was organised at the college’s seminar hall in collaboration with the Coimbatore SIDCO Industrial Estate Manufacturers’ Welfare Association (COSIEMA).
As many as 24 companies from the SIDCO industrial estate participated in the drive. The participating companies included Prakash Gears, Real Tech Engineers, Aravind Engineering, Mark Preserve Products, Selvamani Industries, WeCare Systems, Unique Engineering, Mass Solar Systems, Ferrous Alloys, Unique Shell Mold India Pvt. Ltd., Invoices, United Enterprises, EGT Eco Green Tech, United Cooling Systems, ARS Engineering, Jayam Engineering & Tools, Premier Engineering Works, Monvex Grate Tech Pvt. Ltd., Sri Ganesh Engineering, Nastech, Indo Shell Cast Pvt. Ltd., Sri Seethalakshmi Steel Castings (P) Ltd., San Precision Alloys Pvt. Ltd., and Best Heat Treatment.
A total of 724 students were interviewed, of whom around 210 students were selected for employment opportunities based on their qualifications. The COSIEMA Association congratulated the selected candidates.
Dr. Kalaivani, Principal of VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science, delivered the welcome address. COSIEMA President N. Mathivanan addressed the gathering on employment opportunities. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Vignesh, Placement Officer of the college.
The event was attended by COSIEMA Secretary Mr. R. Kumar, Immediate Past President Mr. C. Natarajan, Past Presidents Mr. S. Surulivel and Mr. M.V. Loganathan, Joint Secretary Mr. N. Maheswaran, along with members of the COSIEMA Executive Committee and other association members, who participated in large numbers.
