Covai Stables Young Riders Shine at Junior National Championship

Eight young riders from Covai Stables Equestrian School brought pride to the city with an outstanding performance at the Junior National Equestrian Championship 2025, held recently.
The prestigious championship witnessed participation from over 600 riders competing across four categories.
The riders — Kapilesh, Adhav Kandhasamy, Prithiv Krishna, Adarsh, Prathick Raj, Sonica Sunil, Thivyesh Ram and Harshiyt — displayed exceptional skill, discipline and sportsmanship.


Their remarkable performance resulted in a medal haul of five gold medals, three bronze medals and five fourth-place finishes, marking one of the most successful national-level outings for Covai Stables.
The Junior National Equestrian Championship is regarded as a key platform for emerging equestrian talent in the country. Coaches and officials lauded Team Covai Stables for their consistency, technical excellence and competitive spirit, attributing the success to rigorous training, dedication and the strong bond between riders and their
horses.
Adding to the accolades, Prithiv Krishna, representing Team India, secured a gold medal at the FEI Silver Tour, bringing international recognition to both India and Covai Stables. Harshiyt also represented India at the Youth Asian Games held in Bahrain in October 2025.
In 2025 alone, Covai Stables riders achieved an impressive tally across national and international competitions, including overseas events, winning 48 gold medals, 28 silver medals and 32 bronze medals, along with several fourth, fifth and sixth-place finishes.

The management of Covai Stables, along with coaches Saravanan, Senthil Nathan and Sriram, expressed immense pride in the young athletes, crediting structured training programmes, experienced coaching and the unwavering support of parents. With a new generation of rising stars, Covai Stables continues to strengthen its position as one of India’s leading equestrian training centres.
