Cow delivers twin female calves

A cow gave birth to twin female calves at Poongulam village near Alangayam in Tirupattur district, drawing the attention of local residents.
The cow belongs to Venkatesan, a resident of Poongulam who rears cattle at his home. A few days ago, the pregnant cow delivered two calves in succession. Both the newborn calves are female and are said to be healthy.
News of the rare twin birth spread quickly in the locality, prompting villagers to visit the house to see the cow and the calves.
Some residents even offered prayers, considering it an auspicious occurrence.
