An educational guidance programme titled “CSI Edu Connect 2026,” focusing on higher education and employment opportunities for students, will be held in Coimbatore on May 2 at the CSI All Souls’ Church campus, Race Course.
Details of the event were shared at a press conference held at the CSI Coimbatore Diocese office. Bishop Prince Calvin of the CSI Coimbatore Diocese, which covers Coimbatore, The Nilgiris and Tiruppur districts, addressed the media. Diocese Treasurer Amirtham and Dr. Arumai Raj, Director of CSI College of Engineering, Ooty, and event coordinator, were present.
The Bishop said the programme aims to provide comprehensive guidance to students completing Class 10 and 12, especially those planning to pursue undergraduate studies, along with their parents.
He said the event is being organised jointly by CSI educational institutions under the Coimbatore Diocese in association with several colleges and schools from Coimbatore, Tiruppur and The Nilgiris.
More than 15 scientists, over 1,500 teachers and representatives from various higher education institutions are expected to participate. Renowned educational consultant Jayaprakash Gandhi will also take part and interact with students and parents.
The programme is designed to help students choose suitable academic streams based on their skills, interests and future career prospects.
