CSIR Scientist Motivates Students At Bharani Vidhyalaya Programme

The Career Guidance Centre of Karur Bharani Vidhyalaya Senior Secondary School organised a “Meet The Scientist” programme on Monday, giving students an opportunity to interact with a senior scientist and gain first-hand insights into careers in science and research.
The session featured Jaya Prakash, Scientist at the CSIR–Central Leather Research Institute, Chennai, who addressed students on the scope of scientific research in India and the pathways to becoming a professional scientist.
Interacting with students, he spoke about major Government of India science institutions, career planning in research and technology, and the importance of sustained academic focus. He also explained admission procedures and preparation strategies for premier institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology and National Institutes of Technology.
The programme was presided over by Correspondent S. Mohanarengan, with Secretary Padmavathy and Trustee Subhashini participating in the event.
The initiative was organised under the guidance of Senior Principal C. Ramasubramanian. Principal Sudhadevi, along with Vice Principal and Career Guidance Unit Head Priya, and Coordinator Jerlin Christal, supervised the arrangements, ensuring a meaningful and inspiring interaction for the students.
