The grand finale of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 concluded on Sunday night after an eventful run of over 100 days, with Divya Ganesh emerging as the title winner of the popular reality show.
Four contestants — Divya Ganesh, Sabarinathan, Vikkals Vikram and Aurora Sinclair — qualified for the finale. In the initial stage of the final episode, Aurora Sinclair was eliminated, followed by Vikkals Vikram, who finished as the second runner-up.
The title race eventually narrowed down to Divya Ganesh and Sabarinathan. In a tense final moment, host Vijay Sethupathi announced Divya Ganesh as the winner of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9, while Sabarinathan was declared the first runner-up.
Earlier in the season, contestant Gana Vinoth chose to exit the show by accepting the cash box offer of Rs. 18 lakh, opting out of the competition for the title. The season also witnessed strict disciplinary action, with contestants Parvathy and Kamarudin being shown red cards and evicted from the house for violating the rules.
