Housing Minister S. Muthusamy said that the DMK has the power to prevent any irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Electoral Roll in Tamil Nadu.
A function to distribute free bicycles to school students was held at the Erode Gandhiji Road Government Model Girls Higher Secondary School on Friday.
In this, Minister S. Muthusamy participated and distributed free bicycles to the students.
Following this, he said: A total of 13,592 students, including 6,097 boys and 7,495 girls, studying in class 11 in government and government-aided schools in Erode district, will be provided with bicycles at an estimated cost of Rs. 6.55 crore. He said that 1,168 students were given bicycles worth a total of Rs. 55.92 lakhs at this ceremony.
Following this, he told reporters: The special revision of the voter list was the reason for the BJP alliance’s victory in Bihar. DMK has the power to prevent any irregularities in the revision of the voter list in Tamil Nadu. He said that the TASMAC Managing Director is holding talks with the employees’ union regarding the demands as the TASMAC employees have announced a strike.
