Dr. Urmila Thatte receives lifetime achievement award

Dr. Urmila Thatte ex. professor and HOD of the dept of clinical pharmacology KEM hospital Mumbai, was honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at NAPTICON 2025, recognising her longstanding contributions to the field of pharmacology and medical research.
The award was presented by a distinguished panel that included Dr. K. Bhuvaneswari, Professor and Head of Pharmacology & Therapeutics, PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore; Dr. R. K. Dixit, President, NPT, KGMU Lucknow; Dr. Ganesh Dakhale, Organizing Secretary and Professor & Head of Pharmacology, AIIMS Nagpur; Dr. C. M. Kamaal, National Coordinator, NPT, SMMH GMC Saharanpur; Dr. T. M. Subbarao, Principal, PSG IMSR & Hospitals; Dr. Mohamed Musthafa, Professor; and Dr. Ramanujam, Professor.
The organisers stated that the recognition celebrates Dr. Thatte’s exceptional academic leadership, contributions to pharmacological education, and her efforts in advancing ethical clinical research in India.
