EC orders transfer of SPs in four Tamil Nadu districts

The Election Commission has ordered the transfer of Superintendents of Police in four districts of Tamil Nadu ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.

According to official sources, new SPs have been appointed for Karur, Erode, Nagapattinam and Virudhunagar districts. D.N. Harikiran Prasad has been posted as Superintendent of Police of Karur district, while D.V. Kiran Sruthi has been appointed SP of Erode.

Sujith Kumar will serve as SP of Nagapattinam, and N. Srinatha has been appointed SP of Virudhunagar district.

The reshuffle is part of routine administrative measures undertaken to ensure free and fair conduct of elections.
