Elderly Man Forced to Clean Urine With Tongue at Lucknow Temple

In a shocking incident, a 65-year-old man was humiliated and brutally assaulted at a temple in the Kakori area of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, after he accidentally urinated inside the temple premises.
The victim, identified as Rampal Rawat, was reportedly feeling unwell while sitting in the temple when the incident occurred. Witnesses said that a man named Swami Kant became enraged upon seeing this and allegedly forced Rampal to lick the urine with his tongue as punishment.
Photographs and videos of the disturbing act quickly spread across social media, triggering public outrage. Rampal’s family was horrified after learning about the humiliation he suffered.
Following a complaint lodged by Rampal’s grandson, police registered a case and arrested Swami Kant under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
Officials stated that further investigation is underway, and strict action will be taken against the accused. The incident has sparked widespread condemnation, with locals demanding tougher penalties for such inhumane treatment.
