AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) on Monday intensified the party’s poll preparations by holding a detailed review meeting with district secretaries through video conferencing from the party headquarters in Royapettah.
With the 2026 Assembly elections approaching, EPS has been touring the state under the campaign banner “Let’s Protect the People, Let’s Save Tamil Nadu,” covering more than 170 Assembly constituencies so far. The campaign has boosted cadre morale even as the leadership focuses on strengthening internal structures.
During the meeting, EPS discussed key tasks including intensive voter list revision, strengthening of booth committees, preparations for the executive committee meeting to be held on December 10, and ground-level assessments of constituency-wise election prospects.
Party sources said the AIADMK is also exploring alliance options ahead of the polls, with communication channels open with potential partners, including the PMK (Anbumani).
EPS is expected to continue his statewide tour and organisational reviews in the coming weeks as the party sharpens its strategy for the 2026 elections.
