AIADMK General Secretary and Opposition Leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) visited PMK founder Dr. S. Ramadoss at Apollo Hospitals, Greenways Road, on Monday to inquire about his health and convey his best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Dr. Ramadoss was admitted to the hospital on October 5 after experiencing mild discomfort. He underwent an angiogram on Monday as part of a routine cardiac evaluation. Doctors confirmed that there were no blockages in his coronary arteries and that his condition remains stable. He is expected to be discharged within the next two days.
In a statement, the Apollo Hospital administration said that Dr. Ramadoss is under the continuous care of a team of cardiologists led by Dr. G. Sengottuvelu, Senior Interventional Cardiologist, and that he is responding well to treatment.
Earlier, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin had visited the hospital to meet Dr. Ramadoss and inquired about his well-being and the treatment being provided. The Chief Minister also extended his wishes for the PMK leader’s quick recovery.
During his visit, EPS met with the doctors and family members of Dr. Ramadoss to get updates on his health condition. He expressed his concern and wished him a full and speedy recovery.
Leaders across political parties, including BJP State President Nainar Nagenthran and Naam Tamilar Katchi leader Seeman, also visited the hospital and extended their wishes, reflecting the widespread respect Dr. Ramadoss commands in Tamil Nadu’s political circles.
