Farmer brings snake that bit him to hospital, creates stir in Sivakasi

A farmer from Sivakasi caused a stir at the government hospital on Tuesday after he arrived for treatment carrying the very snake that had bitten him.
Thangaraj (42) of Nadupatti village near Sivakasi, who grazes cattle in his farm, was sitting on the porch of his house when a snake suddenly bit him. Shocked by the incident, he immediately killed the snake, placed it inside a bottle, and rushed to the Sivakasi Government Hospital.
At the hospital, Thangaraj showed the snake to the duty doctors and requested treatment. Doctors promptly administered medical care based on the type of snake he had brought with him.
The unusual sight of a patient arriving with the snake that bit him created a brief commotion in the hospital.
