Farmer S.P. Perumal, his sons Patappan and Neelakandan from Ottapalayam village of Andhiyur Sembulichampalayam filed a petition at the Erode SP office seeking recovery of their land.
They said: Their 20 cent land is worth one and a half crore rupees.
It is near the Andhiyur Ideal School. We pledged it to one Shakuntala for a loan of ten lakh rupees. She has agreed to give the land when the loan is returned with interest.
But for the last five years, we have made many attempts to return the money with interest.
But she has not received the money. She says that she cannot return the land
either.
They said that appropriate action should be taken and the land should be recovered from her.
