The executive committee meeting of the Federation of All Trade and Industries Association of Erode District was held.
The president of the federation, Rajamanickam, presided over the meeting.
Resolutions: An 80 feet road connecting the railway station and Meenakshi Sundaranar Road should be laid to solve the traffic congestion in Erode city as the HC ruled the encroached 12.65 acre land in the area belongs to the government.
So, the encroachment should be removed and the road be laid and the remaining land be set aside for the construction of a ‘Trade Center’. and the ‘Trade Center’ set up by the Tamil Nadu government as in Nandampakkam Chennai.
Pension should be provided to business owners above 60 years of age who pay GST regularly.
Furthermore, the association thanked Tamil Nadu Housing Minister S. Muthusamy, the Corporation Mayor and the Commissioner for recommending the suspension of collection of trade license fee in Erode.
Furthermore, a separate resolution was passed thanking the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, ministers and officials for organizing a ‘buyer-seller’ meeting to attract foreign investment in the small and medium enterprises sector in Erode district.
General Secretary Ravichandran, Treasurer Muruganandam, Joint Secretary Moorthy, VV National owner Senthikumar and many others attended the meeting.
