Film and TV actors rally behind L Murugan at Avinashi meeting

A host of film and television personalities extended support to Union Minister of State and BJP candidate L. Murugan at a meeting held at his residence in Avinashi amid the ongoing Assembly election campaign in Tamil Nadu.
The meeting saw the participation of several TV actors and members of the party’s Arts and Culture Wing, who assured their support for L. Murugan’s campaign in the Avinashi constituency. Among those present were Pepsi Siva, State President of the Arts and Culture Division, and actors Rajkanth, Devanand, Ammu, Thanalaxmi, Deepa Netran, Indran, Kirna Ravi, Chinnalapatti Suji and Kottachi. State Secretary of the Arts and Culture Division Prem Kumar, along with Swaminathan, Rajesh, Chowdhury, Venkatesh and Sivakarthikeyan, also took part in the meeting.
The gathering is seen as part of efforts to strengthen the campaign by mobilising support from the film and television fraternity.
