As election campaigning intensifies ahead of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections, the Election Flying Squad conducted an inspection of a helicopter carrying BJP leader K. Annamalai in Udhagamandalam.
Annamalai had arrived to campaign in support of BJP candidate Bhojarajan in the Udhagamandalam Assembly constituency.
Officials of the Flying Squad carried out a routine check of the helicopter upon arrival. Annamalai cooperated fully with the inspection, following which the team cleared the aircraft.
The inspection was part of standard election monitoring procedures being implemented across the State to ensure compliance with the Model Code of Conduct.
