Former Coimbatore Cricketers relive golden era

Around 52 former cricketers from Coimbatore, who represented district schools, State schools, district colleges, Combined District Colleges, the University of Madras, Coimbatore Senior District, Combined Districts, and the Tamil Nadu Under-22 and Under-25 teams between the 1970s and 2000, reunited recently to celebrate their enduring bond with the game.
The group, known as Past CDCA Golden Cricketers, spent time reminiscing about their cricketing journey, sharing memorable moments from their representative careers, and renewing friendships forged on the field over several decades.
Among those who participated was S. Natarajan, who represented the Coimbatore District team, Tamil Nadu Combined Districts, and the Tamil Nadu Under-22 team during his playing career.
