A man in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh has alleged that he feared for his life after discovering a suspected plot by his wife and her lover to kill him, leading to a dramatic village panchayat settlement.
According to sources, Rajkumar, who has a six-month-old child, had grown suspicious of his wife’s behaviour due to frequent arguments and her repeated outings. His suspicions deepened when he found her speaking secretly on the phone.
He later checked her mobile phone and claimed to have found objectionable content and references to violent incidents, which heightened his fears. He alleged that his wife, along with another youth, had planned to murder him.
Fearing danger, Rajkumar approached the village panchayat. During the inquiry, his wife reportedly expressed her wish to live with her lover.
Accepting the situation, Rajkumar agreed to separate and allowed her to leave, citing concern for his safety. The incident has caused a stir in the area
